Multiple Injuries, Extrication in Gloucester Crash

Gloucester Township, NJ — A two-vehicle collision resulted in road closures and hospitalizations on Monday, according to the Gloucester Township Police Department. The incident occurred at 4:12 PM on Blackwood Clementon Road near Bethel Church.

One vehicle overturned in the crash, trapping a passenger inside. Fire departments from Gloucester Township, Blackwood, Lambs Terrace, and Chews Landing collaborated in the effort to free the individual. Both drivers involved in the accident were taken to a local hospital by Inspira EMS & Ground Transport.

The roadway was closed temporarily for rescue operations and was reopened about an hour later. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
