Murder Charges Filed in Mint Court Shooting

PRINCE FREDERICK, MD – Calvert County Sheriff’s Deputies charged a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on the 1600 block of Mint Court.

The victim, 23-year-old Dakari Nivek Milburn of Prince Frederick, was found with a single gunshot wound to the chest.

On Tuesday, around 3:10 p.m., deputies responded to a shooting report and discovered Milburn on the scene. Despite attempts at life-saving measures, Milburn was pronounced deceased.

Anthony NMN Hill, a 28-year-old from Washington D.C., was apprehended in connection with the incident. A handgun was recovered from the scene, pointing to an isolated incident.

Following the investigation, Hill has been charged with First-Degree Murder, Second-Degree Murder, and multiple handgun offenses. He is currently being held without bond.
