36-year-old jailed without bond on first-degree murder charge
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — A man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred last month in Baltimore County, police announced.
According to the Baltimore County Police Department, homicide detectives arrested 36-year-old Roderick Gardner Jr. on Tuesday in connection with the July 21 fatal shooting in the 8500 block of Chestnut Oak Road.
The shooting occurred at approximately 1 a.m., police said.
Gardner faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder.
Police said he is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Investigators did not release additional details about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The case remains under investigation.
