FREDERICK, MD – On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, around 9:44 p.m., police officers discovered a man suffering from stab wounds in a business parking lot on N. McCain Drive. The victim, 40-year-old Jose Pedro Hernandez from Frederick, was transported to Frederick Health Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Major Crimes Unit of the Frederick Police Department arrested and charged 38-year-old Santos Felipe Reyes-Valle with first and second-degree murder following an intensive investigation. The details surrounding the case are still under investigation.
