NEW YORK CITY, NY – If you can make it in New York City, you can make it anywhere, but just because it happens in New York City, doesn’t mean it can happen anywhere. That’s the case where on Tuesday, a naked man who just killed a gay man and tried to set his apartment on fire fought police until finally subdued and arrested. Aljo Mrkulic was charged with murder, assault and arson after killing Christopher Rodriguez, according to police. Mrkulic reportedly mangled Rodriguez’ testicles and cut his abdomen and parts of the attack were caught by building security cameras. Mrkulic dragged Rodriguez out of the apartment and assaulted him in the 9th floor hallway, police said. Police said no motive has been determined yet.
