Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi this weekend said people having jobs leads to inflation, but admitted the wages of those jobs are not keeping up with the rate of inflation under President Joe Biden.
“Well, what, let me just talk about the inflation then because people are saying, well what we’re spending is causing,” Pelosi said. “The fact that people have jobs always contributes to increasing inflation and that’s a good thing but inflation is not good you know.”
When asked if wages are not keeping up, Pelosi said, “That’s right.”
