DENVER, PA – Vasiliy Chernovskiy, a 21-year-old from Narvon, has been charged following a high-speed accident on SR0222 on Friday, May 12, 2023, at around 8:34 p.m. Witnesses reported that Chernovskiy’s vehicle was driving erratically and struck a motorcycle, resulting in severe injuries to the motorcyclist and their passenger. Both individuals were transported by ambulance to Reading Hospital.
A breath test determined that Chernovskiy was impaired, with a blood alcohol concentration of .180%. Chernovskiy was arraigned at Lancaster County Central Booking and remanded to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $35,000 bail.
