Nashville school shooting with multiple victims reported

NASHVILLE, TN – On Monday, in Nashville, Tennessee, officials responded to a shooting at a school that left multiple victims, the local fire department confirmed.

The Nashville fire department tweeted that there is an active aggressor at 33 Burton Hills Blvd Covenant School.

“We can confirm that there are multiple patients. Parents should go to 20 Burton Hills at this time. This is an active scene,” the department said.

“An active shooter event has taken place at Covenant School, Covenant Presbyterian Church, on Burton Hills Dr. The shooter was engaged by MNPD and is dead. Student reunification with parents is at Woodmont Baptist Church, 2100 Woodmont Blvd,” the Nashville Police Department reported.

The shooter has reportedly been shot and killed. At this time, few details have been released by the police.
