Neptune Man Arrested for Credit Card Fraud and Theft in Joint Investigation

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Jonathan T. Balbosa, 25, of Neptune, was arrested on charges of theft and fraudulent use of a credit card following a joint investigation by local police and federal agents.

Detective Spinapont of the Wall Township Police Department collaborated with agents from the United States Postal Inspectors Office to conduct the investigation.

Balbosa is accused of illicitly using a credit card to obtain approximately $3,100.

Balbosa was arrested, processed, and subsequently released on summons.

While he faces third-degree charges for both theft and fraudulent use of a credit card, it is important to note that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. This applies to both federal and state levels, as guaranteed by the United States Constitution and New Jersey State Law.
