PARIS (Reuters) – Nestle France, the French arm of Swiss packaged-food giant Nestle, has entered exclusive talks to sell its plant in Caudry, northern France, to Italian group Italpizza.

The deal could be finalised by early 2024, the statement said.

Nestle France announced in March that it was closing the frozen-pizza factory that suffered a sharp decline in sales after an E.coli outbreak last year.
