New Hyde Park Store Sells Mega Millions Second-Prize-Winning Ticket

New Hyde Park, NY – The New York Lottery announced yesterday that a second-prize-winning ticket for the August 22 Mega Millions drawing was sold in New Hyde Park.

The winning ticket, worth $1,000,000, was sold at Cumberland Farms, located at 2201 New Hyde Park Road.

Mega Millions drawings are held twice a week, with numbers drawn from a field of one to 70, and the Mega Ball selected from a separate field of one to 25. These drawings are televised every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.
