New industrial sublease opens at Marciante Warehouse in Jackson Township Site of Former Italian American Club

JACKSON, N.J. – A newly built light industrial facility at 17 Cpl. Luigi Marciante Jr. Memorial Drive in Jackson Township has become available for sublease, offering up to 13,781 square feet of flexible warehouse and distribution space.

The warehouse is located on the former site of the Jackson Italian American Club, where for decades, Italian Americans gathered regularly. It was also once a local hot spot for political activity, as political factions regularly hosted dinners and fundraisers at the site. Large-scale events and concerts were also once held at the site.

The site and road was named after a New Jersey soldier killed in action during the Global War on Terrorism.

Luigi “Louie” Marciante Jr. was born on November 10, 1981, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend whose warmth, humor, and love for life left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Though no longer here in body, his spirit continues to inspire all who knew him, living on in the memories of his loved ones and in the eyes of his son.

A newlywed and young father, Marciante was four months into his first tour in Iraq when he was granted an 18-day leave to return home for the birth of his son, Lorenzo. Every moment of that visit was precious to him. When he put his uniform back on for his flight to Iraq on August 23, 2007, his thoughts were already on the future—coming home for good, raising his son, and pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a police officer.

Cpl. Luigi “Louie” Marciante Jr. was killed in action on September 20, 2007, in Muqdadiyah, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. He was serving with the 2nd Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Stryker Brigade Combat Team, based at Fort Lewis, Washington, in

Known as Marciante Warehouse, the 4-star industrial property features multiple units designed for storage, light manufacturing, and logistics use. Each unit includes 30- to 32-foot clear heights, dedicated office space, two private restrooms, and options for both drive-in doors and dock loading.

According to leasing information, three spaces are currently available—measuring 3,472, 6,837, and 3,472 square feet respectively—with rental rates available upon request and negotiable lease terms.

The facility provides ample parking, a modern office-style façade, and efficient interior layouts suitable for multi-tenant occupancy. Its location on the Lakewood-Howell border offers proximity to Interstate 95 and Route 9, along with nearby restaurants, service businesses, and fitness centers.

Commercial data indicates that more than 19,000 warehouse and distribution professionals reside within a 10-mile radius, supporting a robust labor market for prospective tenants.

A recently completed industrial property in Jackson Township has opened for sublease, offering flexible warehouse and distribution space near major Central Jersey transport routes.
