New Jersey Car Thief Set Free by Judge Steals Another Car the Next Day

Atlantic City, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department arrested a man twice in one day after he was found in possession of stolen vehicles. On the evening of May 12th, 2024, an unoccupied stolen minivan was discovered by Officer John Bell in the first block of Tennessee Avenue after it had been reported stolen earlier in the day.

An arrest ensued with the assistance of the Surveillance Center as the occupants were apprehended.

In the early hours of May 13th, at around 2:12 AM, Officer Bell encountered another stolen vehicle in the first block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard.

The driver, Adam Ross, was arrested after being found to have stolen the vehicle only moments after a dispute outside led to the theft. Ross had sped off with the stolen vehicle. Following the two incidents, Adam Ross was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

A co-arrestee, Aine Wallace of Northfield, NJ, faced charges of receiving stolen property, joyriding, and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Wallace was released on a summons pending a future court date.
