New Jersey Incident Management Team Returns from Georgia Deployment

Trenton, NJ – The New Jersey All-Hazards Incident Management Team (NJ-AHIMT) returned after a 16-day deployment to Macon, Georgia in response to Hurricane Helene.

NJ-AHIMT’s mission in Georgia involved providing key ground support. The team offered logistical assistance and facilitated communication and coordination efforts.

The team also supervised the statewide distribution of supplies at the Georgia State Logistics Staging Area. Their work was part of a broader response to the impact of the hurricane.

Their mission concluded successfully Tuesday night with the team’s safe arrival back in New Jersey.
