New Jersey Police Officer Blames Schools for Not Teaching Real American History

OCEAN CITY, NJ – Ocean City protesters joined police in peaceful protesting on Tuesday and one police officer gave his insight on the situation in America.  As an African American officer, he says he gets to see both sides of the problem. When he takes off his uniform, he faces the same plight as every other African American he said.  He went on to blame poor education on the problems all races in America face, the whitewashing of American history.

“Out of uniform, I get it, I’m not recognized out of uniform,” he said. “The problem is lack of education and we don’t teach the real American history or where it comes from.”
