TRENTON, NJ – The New Jersey State Police Academy extended a warm welcome to the 116th Trooper Youth Week Class, introducing young recruits to the disciplined world of law enforcement training. The event was detailed in a recent social media update by the State Police.

Academy staff, alongside the Mounted Unit, greeted the new class, guiding them through initial procedures such as lining up for roll call and transitioning into academy life.

The young recruits were informed of a temporary digital detox: no Snapchat, Instagram, or TikTok during their training period, emphasizing focus and discipline essential for their development.

This induction marks another significant step for the Trooper Youth Week, aimed at instilling the values and responsibilities of state policing in its participants.
