WYCKOFF, N.J. — Township officials in Wyckoff are denouncing the distribution of antisemitic flyers discovered earlier this week in the Sicomac section of the community, calling the act “divisive, polarizing, and antisemitic” in a public statement released by the Township Committee.

The materials, which are currently under investigation, were described as hate-filled and intended to intimidate and divide residents. The incident is being taken “very seriously” by authorities, and the Wyckoff Police Department is actively investigating under the direction of Chief David V. Murphy.

“Antisemitism has no place in Wyckoff—or anywhere—and we stand firmly with our Jewish residents and neighbors,” the statement reads. Township officials have urged residents to refrain from speculation as the investigation continues and emphasized that the incident appears to be isolated at this time.

The statement was signed by all five members of the Wyckoff Township Committee, including Mayor Rudolf E. Boonstra.
