New Jersey Weather Report: Rain Storms Return on Wednesday

Rain once again returns to New Jersey after a stretch of beautiful summer days this week.

Thursday offers a chance of showers mainly after noon, with cloudy skies and a high near 77.

South winds will be at 5 to 15 mph, and the chance of precipitation is 30% with new precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. For Thursday night, there is a chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11 pm.

The weather will remain cloudy, with a low around 70 and south wind at 10 to 15 mph. The chance of precipitation is 40%, with new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

On Friday, there’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 8 am and 11 am, followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 am.

The day will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 82 and south wind around 15 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%, with new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
