New York City Braces for Rain and Chilly Temperatures

NEW YORK CITY, NY – New York City residents will experience a cloudy day today with temperatures hovering around 50 degrees. Winds are expected to be light and variable in the morning, shifting southeast at speeds of 8 to 13 mph.

Tonight, the city should prepare for rain, primarily after 8 pm. The temperature will dip to around 46 degrees. Winds will blow from the east at 11 to 16 mph, shifting northwest after midnight. The likelihood of precipitation is 100%, with new rainfall amounts estimated between three quarters and one inch.

Monday will see a shift in weather with mostly sunny skies and a high near 51 degrees. Westerly winds will blow at a speed of 13 to 17 mph. By Monday night, the skies will remain mostly clear with a low around 33 degrees. The west wind will continue at around 17 mph. Residents should plan accordingly for the wet and chilly conditions.
