New York City police searching for man wanted for luring young girl

QUEENS, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted in connection with an attempted child luring incident involving a 13-year-old girl in the 115th Precinct.

According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 7:35 a.m. in front of 33-37 97th Street. An unidentified male approached the victim, offering her money in an attempt to lure her into performing a sexual act.

The victim fled the scene, and the suspect briefly followed her before running southbound on 97th Street. No injuries were reported, and the girl was not physically harmed.

Police have released images of the suspect and are urging anyone who recognizes the individual to contact authorities. The man’s identity remains unknown as the investigation continues.
