New York City Science Teacher Charged After Releasing ‘Intimate’ Image of Child

New York, NY – A New York City school teacher is in hot water after being charged for releasing what is being described as an ‘intimate’ image of a child.

On Wednesday, February 28, at 12:32 PM, an on-duty New York City Department of Education employee was arrested and charged with serious offenses in Brooklyn.

The individual identified as Douglass James, a 40-year-old male, faces multiple charges that raise concerns about privacy and child welfare within the city’s school district.

James is charged with unlawful publication of an intimate image, endangering the welfare of a child, and unlawful disclosure of an intimate image.
