Milton, DE – Delaware State Police arrested 29-year-old Michael Lacey of Valley Stream, New York, following investigations into fraudulent credit card purchases at Coastal Wine and Spirits and Hickman’s Discount Liquors.
Lacey was identified as a suspect in the thefts reported on May 13, 2023, and May 17, 2023.
Lacey was extradited from New Jersey to Delaware on May 13, 2024, where he faced charges related to the incidents. After being taken into custody, Lacey was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and remanded to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on an $11,000 secured bond.
The charges against him include multiple counts of felony offenses.
