New York Man Charged for Murder of 16-Year-Old in Soho

NEW YORK, NY — A 19-year-old male has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on May 7 within the 1st Precinct.

The suspect, identified as Henry Thomas of 152 Avenue D, New York, was taken into custody on Friday at 2:20 PM and faces murder charges.

The incident took place opposite 233 Spring Street, where police found a 16-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds to the head and right thigh. He was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced dead.
