New York State Police Hold Back to School Backpack Drive

by NY State Police

Helping hand: Staff at our Forensic Investigation Center (FIC) held a Back to School/Summer Drive for the non-profit Things of My Very Own. The drive was coordinated by Senior Lab Tech Lynda Niles and Forensic Scientist Kimberly Stoddard. Staff collected school supplies, toiletries, and clothing that will be provided to children who have experienced extensive abuse and/or neglect. We hope these items will provide some comfort to those who receive them. Thank you Things of My Very Own for all you do to keep children safe and taken care of.
