New York Synagogue Target of Arson Attempt

NEW YORK, NY – A Manhattan Synagogue at 28 Gramercy Park South was the target of an attempted arson after an individual that appeared to be female lit a book and piece of cloth on fire and threw it inside the temple gates.

On Wednesday, at around 1:25 am, the attack took place at the Brotherhood Synagogue and now police are asking the public to help identify the subject.
