Newark Man Arrested for Fraud at Lowe’s in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, DE – Delaware State Police arrested Alexander Quiles, a 35-year-old from Newark, New Jersey, on multiple charges in relation to a fraud investigation at Lowe’s.

According to police, on Wednesday, Quiles entered Lowe’s, claiming to be an authorized buyer for Sentinel Self Storage, and purchased over $1500 in flooring products using a fraudulent ID.

Quiles was promptly recognized from a previous fraud incident, leading to his arrest. He now faces multiple charges including two counts of identity theft and second-degree forgery.
