NEWARK, NJ – On Tuesday, April 26, 2023, officers responded to a report of a car accident on Sweetland Avenue around 7:07 pm.
Upon arrival, officers found that a vehicle driven by Gerrell Elliott, a 60-year-old Newark resident, had struck a parked car.
Following further investigation, Elliott was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and released with a Municipal Court appearance date.
