NEWARK, NJ – Newark’s 3rd Precinct Community Service Officer S. Pereira and School Resource Officer R. Charles, in collaboration with Annie Ferreira, a Senior Aide from the Mayor’s office, participated in the Reading Across America program at Wilson Avenue School. This involvement highlights the community engagement efforts of Newark’s Department of Public Safety and the Mayor’s office.
