NEWARK, NJ – A ShotSpotter alert at approximately 5:50 p.m. led to a police response near 567 Broadway, where evidence of a shooting was discovered.
The area was secured by law enforcement.
Currently, one gunshot victim has been identified. The suspect responsible has fled the scene and remains at large. The condition of the victim is yet to be confirmed.
