Newark Police Issue Alert for Missing 10-Year-Old Boy

NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Department of Public Safety is urgently requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 10-year-old boy, Ayaan Khan, who was reported missing on Tuesday. Ayaan, known to have run away in the past, was last seen in the 200 block of Sussex Avenue in Newark.

Described as 4’6” tall and weighing 70 pounds, Ayaan was wearing a navy blue shirt and khaki-colored pants when he was last seen. Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is calling on anyone with information regarding Ayaan’s whereabouts to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Tips provided through this line remain confidential and could lead to a reward. The community’s prompt and vigilant assistance is crucial in ensuring Ayaan’s safe return.
