Newark Police Seek Assistance in Locating Man for Shooting Inquiry

NEWARK, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is requesting public assistance in locating Daquan Mccormick, 34, for questioning related to a shooting on Friday morning.

The shooting occurred around 12:12 a.m. in the 300 block of South Orange Avenue. Responding officers found six 9mm cartridges, a set of keys, and a black jacket at the scene. Mccormick is described as 5’11” tall, weighing over 250 pounds, with brown eyes, brown hair, and a medium complexion.
