Newark Police Seeking Justin Rose in Connection to Weekend Shooting

Newark, NJ – Authorities in Newark are calling upon the public for assistance in locating a man who is being sought for questioning related to a recent shooting. Justin Rose, a 24-year-old resident of Newark, is the person in question following an incident that took place on Saturday, October 5.

Police responded to reports of a shooting around 2:08 a.m. at Springfield Avenue and South 13th Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The individual was promptly transported to University Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The Newark Department of Public Safety has emphasized the need for public cooperation in finding Justin Rose for questioning purposes. Rose is described as standing 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 175 pounds, and having a medium brown complexion.

Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé has urged anyone who might have information regarding Rose’s whereabouts to contact the department.
