Newark Police Seeking Scooter Thief

NEWARK, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is requesting assistance from the public in identifying a suspect involved in a recent theft. The incident involved the theft of an electric scooter on July 15.

The theft occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. at the Walgreens Pharmacy located in the 60 block of Ferry Street. The owner of the scooter left it at the entrance of the store before entering, and the suspect was subsequently caught on surveillance footage entering the store and leaving with the scooter.
