Newport News Police Department Arrest Suspect in December 17 Homicide

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – The Newport News Police Department (NNPD) has announced a significant breakthrough in the homicide case of Godfrey Junior Davidson, which occurred on December 17, 2023. After an extensive investigation, NNPD arrested 23-year-old Keondre Lashawn LeBeauf of Newport News on December 25, 2023.

LeBeauf faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and robbery. The arrest marks a pivotal moment in the investigation, underscoring the dedication and hard work of the NNPD officers and detectives involved.
