Newt Gingrich has made it clear where he stands on the Joe Biden administration one week into a very long term. Pathetic.
“Why would President Biden issue an executive order banning the term “Chinese virus”? Covid 19 came from China. No one doubts that. Biden’s executive order banning “Chinese virus” is like a big wet kiss to the dictator Xi Jinping. Pretty pathetic for an American President,” Gingrich said.
One of Biden’s first moves as President was to outlaw the words “China Virus” and “Kung Flu” in federal offices, saying those terms are xenophobic and harmful to Asian Americans.
The term China Virus was coined by President Donald J. Trump, but was referred to as the Wuhan Coronavirus many times on MSNBC and CNN during the early days of the pandemic.
