Massapequa, NY – A jet skier in trouble was saved late at night in Long Island. The incident occurred on a Friday at 9:20 p.m. in Massapequa. Nassau County Police responded to a report of a distressed jet skier near Great Island.
The jetskier was stranded on a sandbar after striking it, according to reports. They were transported by Nassau County Marine Bureau 6 back to safety. No injuries were reported.
