Nine Injured After Car Collides with Tanker on Parkway in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Nine people were injured in a collision between a Jeep, Volvo and a tanker truck according to a report by the New Jersey State Police.

On Tuesday, at around 5:11 pm, State Trooper Brandi Slota said the crash occurred near mile marker 84.9 when Jeep traveling northbound lost control and struck a Volvo, then a tanker traveling in the same direction.

Nine people were sent to the hospital, the NJSP said. No further details were released at this time.
