PHILADELPHIA, PA – Officers from the North Brunswick Police Department traveled to Philadelphia today to pay their respects at the funeral of Officer Richard Carrero Mendez, a Philadelphia police veteran who served for over 22 years.
Officer Mendez was assigned to the airport unit at the time of his passing. He leaves behind a wife and daughter. The attendance of the North Brunswick officers underscores the solidarity and support among law enforcement communities, even across state lines.
