North Charleston Police Department Delivers Thanks Giving to 115 Families

North Charleston, SC – The spirit of Thanksgiving was alive and well in North Charleston today as the police department here teamed up with the Carlos Dunlap Foundation, and the Bowie State University Alumni and CBA Educational Mentoring Program.   Together, they presented “A Day of Thanksgiving”.  The group delivered a turkey and fixings to prepare a Thanksgiving meal to 15 families.  At the North Charleston Community Resource Center, the group gave away 115 turkeys, 30 Thanksgiving meal preps, and fed over 200 people a hot Thanksgiving meal.
