Northwest Baltimore Shooting Leaves Man Injured

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened early this morning in Northwest Baltimore.

Just after 12:30 am, Baltimore County officers were dispatched to an area hospital in Baltimore County in response to a report of a walk-in shooting victim. The officers arrived at the hospital to investigate the incident. There, officers from Baltimore County encountered a 22-year-old male who had sustained a gunshot wound to his lower leg. The injury was determined to be non-life-threatening. Baltimore County officers informed the Northwest District Shooting detectives, who arrived at the scene and took charge of the investigation.

An initial investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 3400 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway.
