BUFFALO, NY – A Powerball ticket worth $1,000,000 was sold in Buffalo for the February 23 drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The second-prize-winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven store located at 2139 Niagara Falls Blvd. in Buffalo.

Powerball players win $1,000,000 by matching five white balls. The white ball numbers are drawn from a field of one to 69, and the red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

Powerball drawings are televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
