BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for endangering the welfare of a child in Greenpoint.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Monday near Manhattan Avenue and Nassau Avenue. An unidentified individual boarded an MTA bus and sat next to a 16-year-old girl. The suspect then performed a lewd act before fleeing the scene.
The NYPD has released images of the suspect and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
