NYC Rideshare Driver Punched and Pepper Sprayed by Group of Women

NEW YORK, NY – A rideshare driver was beaten, pepper sprayed and robbed after telling a group of women there were too many people in the car. The incident happened in the Bronx near Melrose Avenue and East 158th Street.

“The driver told the individuals that there were too many people in the vehicle and they had to take another car,” the NYPD said. “The females punched, pepper sprayed the victim and took his cell phone.”
