NYC subway groping incident being investigated

NEW YORK, NY – Police in the Bronx are investigating a groping incident involving an unknown male suspect and a female victim that occurred inside the Kingsbridge subway station last week.

Today, detectives with the city’s 52nd NYPD Precinct released a photo of the wanted suspect.

According to police, on Wednesday, February 1, at approximately 10 pm, the victim, a 31-year-old female, was exiting the Kingsbridge Road subway station, when an unknown male individual approached the victim and grabbed her leg and buttocks.

“The victim pushed the individual and ran up the stairs out of the subway station,” police reported.

The suspect fled the scene. He was described as a male with a light complexion and approximately 5’9” in height. He was last seen wearing a gray knit cap, gray jacket, and blue jeans.
