NYC Traffic Cop Facing Multiple Charges

NEW YORK, NY — An off-duty New York City employee was taken into custody late Friday night on charges including endangering the welfare of a child and criminal trespass, authorities reported.

At 10:21 p.m., Osayuki Osunbar, a 50-year-old NYPD Traffic Enforcement Agent, was arrested within the 40th Precinct of the Bronx. The arrest followed allegations involving misconduct with minors.

Osunbar faces two counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17 years of age, as well as two counts of criminal trespass. Details leading to the arrest have not been fully disclosed.

The New York Police Department has not yet released a statement regarding Osunbar’s arrest or the circumstances surrounding the charges.
