NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for public assistance in identifying three individuals in connection with an arson incident in Staten Island.
The incident took place on Friday, February 10, at approximately 8:10 PM.
Three unknown individuals approached an unoccupied motor vehicle and unoccupied trailer, located in the vicinity of South Avenue and Goethals Road North.
The suspects allegedly used a crowbar to open the windows of the vehicle and trailer, then threw at least two incendiary devices inside, causing fire and damage. Two individuals fled eastbound on South Avenue, and one individual fled northbound on Forest Avenue. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
