NYPD Calls for Public Help in Tracking Down Subway Assault Suspect

BRONX, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying a man involved in a forcible touching incident in the 43rd Precinct.

The incident occurred last Thursday at approximately 4:45 pm. A 15-year-old girl was inside a “6” train at the Morrison Avenue-Soundview subway station when an unidentified man approached and inappropriately touched her. The assailant then fled the scene on foot. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries and declined medical attention.

The suspect is described as a male, aged between 35 to 45 years, about 180 pounds, and 5’8” tall. He has a light complexion and a slim build. His last known attire included dark pants, a black hat, a black jacket, and white sneakers.
