NYPD Identifies Victim in Deadly Brooklyn Stabbing

BROOKLYN, NY – On Thursday, a stabbing incident at Belmont Avenue and Alabama, within the 75 Precinct, resulted in the death of 52-year-old Eric Wright, an undomiciled man. The incident, reported to the police at around 7:15 PM following a 911 call, saw officers arriving to find Wright with a stab wound to his torso. Emergency Medical Services transported him to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation into the stabbing continues. Authorities are gathering information and seeking witnesses to aid in the investigation.
