NYPD Investigating Armed Robbery at Bronx Business

NEW YORK, NY – A robbery occurred at around 11:45 a.m. on Friday at 1095 Prospect Avenue.

Police reported an unidentified male made a forceful entry, displaying a firearm to a 28-year-old male employee. The intruder then swiftly took approximately $50 from the register before fleeing the scene on foot. He was last seen entering 1111 Prospect Avenue.

No injuries resulted from the encounter.

The NYPD said the suspect is a male of medium complexion, standing between 5 feet, 4 inches, and 5 feet, 7 inches tall. His was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sneakers distinguished by white soles.
