NYPD investigating attack at Queens Subway Station

NEW YORK, NY – A man was assaulted during an attempted robbery inside a Queens subway station on Monday.

Police are currently investigating an assault that occurred at the Sutphin Boulevard subway station on Monday night and asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspects.

The incident took place at approximately 11:20 PM when a 43-year-old male victim was entering the mezzanine of the station.

According to the victim’s report to the police, three unidentified individuals approached him and demanded money.

When the victim refused to comply with their demands, the suspects proceeded to attack him, repeatedly punching and kicking him physically. After the assault, the perpetrators fled the scene without taking any of the victim’s belongings. Their whereabouts remain unknown.

Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene and assessed the victim’s injuries, which were determined to be minor. The victim was then transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
